Rangers dropped their first points of the season amid controversy as Aberdeen once again proved to be an unhappy kingsting ground in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

David Weir opened the scoring but his header was cancelled out by Derek Young, before DaMarcus Beasley controversially had a goal ruled offside late in the game.

The good news is that three points from their SPL opener eases the pressure slightly on the Ibrox club following a week to forget - the bad news is they looked far from convincing for the first hour of this game.
