WASHINGTON DC LOYAL RANGERS SUPPORTERS CLUB, INC. TO SUSPEND DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS

2012-13 MEMBERSHIP DUES HAVE BEEN REDUCED AND ARE NOW DUE

At its Annual General Meeting on October 28, 2012, the Membership of Washington DC Loyal Rangers Supporters Club, Inc. agreed to a motion sponsored by the Board of Directors to suspend day-to-day operations of the Club effective November 1, 2012. This means that the Club will cease showing Rangers games at Summers Restaurant as of that date and until further notice.

We want to stress that the Club is NOT dissolving. The Club’s corporate existence is being maintained, its bank account and other assets are being safeguarded, and a full caretaker board of directors has been elected and is in place. No later than this time next year, and sooner if conditions warrant, a new General Meeting of Members will be held at which point all members will have the opportunity to give their input as to the future direction of the Club. Only those whose membership is current and paid will be given the opportunity to vote at the next AGM.

Rangers crashed out of the Scottish Communities League Cup as Inverness booked their place in the semi-finals with a 3-0 win.
